hello Arch , i have found a few civil war items around old cellar holes , and some revolutionary war and war of 1812 items as well

Hi Arch... Can you reccommend any books or websites that talk about different areas where camps were?... I'm not looking to take your sweet spots but as ya know a lot of land is being developed around here. I would imagine the entire banks of the Thames River would be hot. I have a friend who found some surface artifacts along the Thames. Very Impressive. I'll do some research too and maybe we can exchange.

Hi Arch,

I have been hunting central Ct. for about 12 years. I have found lots of civil war relics as well as the war of 1812.Here is a pic of a officers hat plate from the war of 1812. I found it at a cellar hole in Burlington Ct.

I live in Bridgeport Connecticut and seeking friends to search parks and beaches. Have detector, but no car.
