I have a small endeavor focusing on returning Canadian Coins back to Canada. During the past few years, I've met quite a few people that have accumulated Canadian coins during the hunt for silver and other collectible coins. I've started collecting as well and recently called on members of Treasurenet for advise and tap into the expertise found here.

I though I'd start a log to share some of the fun finds that I have come across and log in new from now on.

Today - I added to my silver pile..

2- quarters (1945 & 1964)
1- Mercury 1936

And 3 steel pennies

While going through my "scrap bin" (every collector has one of those right.). I found this 1939 German coin which appears to be in great condition. Definitely silver to some degree. The edge writing is very clean.

Also checked out one quarter box from the bank and zippo.. Guess i'll have better luck in the scrap bin for now..

Happy hunting all..

Kind of a fun day - not as profitable as some members report but fun never the less..

2 Buffalo Nickels (well worn)
1 1964 dime in remarkable condition. If I didn't find it in a roll of dimes I would have guessed it was uncirculated.

Slim pick'in in the North- it appears that most of the quarters in rolls these days are state quarters which make the hunt for silver even more challenging and exciting when one is found.

4/22 (1) - 1952 quarter out of 20 rolls

Neighbor Reunion !

That's what I call silver US and silver Canadian in one box. Fun $250 box to sort through although dimes are tedious to say the least. The '64 almost got away. Rare to find a old canadian in a US box.
