Great nickel box, SC. Congrats on the V nickel. When you saw that 40% ender, you probably thought you had a great box. Tough luck. That was the only silver in the box. Whenever I have any enders, it's almost always a sign of a great box, but not quite always.

Yeah when I saw the ender I was like yes finally a decent box. Alas just one coin but it's better than nothing! Also the bank wasn't able to get large coins Ike's they just got a roll of small dollars. Took them anyways.

A side story after I picked up my 3 boxes I get each week I anticipated a bag or box of dollars so I had an extra 1000 dollars on me in case they got them in. Well they didn't but I counted out the right amount and took my coins after giving them a couple dozen of cookies. Well an hour or so later the teller calls and asks if I'm short any money and I told her I cant be sure because I dropped my coins and extra cash off at home before going to school. Well she deposited the 100 dollars her drawer was over to my bank. I checked last night and it wasnt mine. I did have the thought to keep it the money only for a second. I called today and told them it wasn't mine and they were so thankful I was honest and genuine. I kinda hope this experience builds some relationship with the tellers so I can pick some of their silver coins from their drawers instead of giving it all to the other teller lol. But we'll see.

This box tied the number of silver coins I have pulled from 2010-2014. I wasn't searching hardcore for them so that explains some..

Dime box 2: skunk. I did find (3) 2009 p and (1) 2009 d. The 2009 d I needed to finish my clad folder so that was an awesome find!

Nickel box 12: (3) dateless Buffaloes and (2) 1945 Ss.

Not bad for another box 5 keepers. Oh also found another 1950 and 1980s proof. I'm keeping those two. First proof nickel found in circulation.

Killer dime box, and killer nickel box below. With those kind of results, I'm not surprised you would drop the halves for a while. Congratulations on completing your halves folder. I just completed mine a few months back. Even on the skunk boxes, it seems like I always pull something interesting out: a proof, foreign coin, gold plated, commemorative, etc.

Killer dime and nickel boxes. With those kind of boxes it's no wonder you are switching to dimes and nickels. Congratulations on finishing your halves folder. I finished mine a few months back. Seems like even on the skunks I usually find things: proofs, foreign coins, gold-plated, commemoratives, etc. This hobby is rarely boring, especially if I keep my expectations in check.

Found 4 2009 P, not a single 2009 D. Kinda disappointed I didn't even find a single silver in the last 2 boxes but thats the nature of the hobby.

Nickel box 14: 1943 P & 1943 P

Also found a 1972 S proof which I'll keep. In addition, found another 1950.

Disappointing dimes boxes, but the nice nickel box almost makes up for it. My last box of dimes was all brand new dimes--a real letdown.

$100 CWR: skunked

I was home with the family for the weekend and after landing that box with 10 keepers I had an itch I had to scratch so my brother called the local bank here. I got $100 in CRW and he got $25 CRW cents. I got skunked he already pulled 2 wheats. I did land a silver nickel from my mom's change purse. We were shopping around waiting to go eat and she paid for her stuff and stopped and looked at me and asked if this is something you keep. I looked and it was a 1943 P silver nickel. I said yep and gave it back to her and she was like no you keep it! At least the day wasn't a total skunk! :occasion14:
