Slow start to the year with no major scores but slow and steady weeks. Silver every week is fine with me and over 1 oz a week average so far. Lots of proofs and Bens so far this year.

Hey Steve, nice to see you post! You're off to a much better start than I am. I've been averaging <1 per box with only 3 90% over 36 boxes so far. That '63 Ben in the second pic sure looks like a proof.

It looks like your boxes have picked up since the beginning of the year, which is a promising sign. I look forward to following your thread :)
Best of luck in 2015,

Thanks guys. That 1963 Ben is a proof. Shiniest rim I have ever seen I think. You could spot it through the roll.

Hope you guys starts hitting and good luck.

Hey guys, still putting along and mostly weeding through Buffalo Boy dumps. I have had similar results as Avago, who is to my north and Buffalo Boy to the East.

I have been sticking to my 4 box a week routine and mostly hitting a few silver a week and nice skunk streaks of 4 or so boxes at a time.

I will update my log this week but did find a few goodies. This week I hit an awesome box of 27 silvers. 26 40% and a Franklin. Several rolls with 3 silvers. I had an ended roll with 4 silver from the other box, no other silver in the box, crazy.

Two weeks ago I found my first 1970, so overall still having fun but it has been slow.

This past week was over 5 oz of silver out of 4 boxes, so hopefully picking up.

Nice to see you posting again. Nice silver, My finds have been rather petty lately myself, and my volume has been reduced due to cut offs and whatnot. Good luck my friend.

Neat commemoratives and a nice catfish! The 1970-D is the key to the Kennedy series, definitely the hardest to find! Sweet box of 27 too, nearly four ounces I think. Good luck in the coming weeks!

Since you are talking about averages per $500, since the beginning of the year i've been able to go through $14,110 in 1/2s (about 28 boxes). I've gotten 134 keepers (39x90% and 95x40%). That comes out to about 5 per $500. The only reason it is that high is in the first $1000 of the year i had 55. Take that out and ive only had 79 in 26 boxes, or about 3 per $500. I'm pretty happy with that. Just thought i would share for statistical purposes.

Still putting along a box at a time. Finding a little each week and things seem to be picking up.

2 oz this week, 2 90% and 10 40%, 1 Ben in there.

Keep hunting

Hey guys, still here just haven't kept my logs updated well. I hit some of the same boxes as Avago over the two weeks, we are only a few hours apart. One roll had 9 90%, lots of Franklins and Walkers. One roll had the silver 90% trifecta, 1 walker, 1 Ben and 1 1964, lol. Only doing a few boxes a week but still pulling a little bit of silver at a time. Keep hunting and have fun.

Also found a great silver commemorative.
