Pics of Friday, and Saturdays haul. Not many Highlights those 2 days were light, no hole fillers at all.


I did separate all my duplicate Nickels , and Wheat cents by year today. Have added another 1960,1961 full rolls of Jeffersons.

What a day. Picked up
35.00 CR dimes Skunk
100.00 Brinks Box nickels No Silver 3 readable Buffalo's 1935,1936, forget the last one, and a 1909 Liberty head very nice cond.
46.00 CR pennies have opened 35.00 so far only 2 rolls had any shields, most rolls were solid copper pre 1976 memorials 2 solid rolls of Wheats, just blown away with the amount of wheats I found today. Separating the wheats by year will have to wait till Sunday. Just too many. Here are some pics.

Got my halfs today, and dropped off Muffins and Donuts to my Banks they were very happy! Also picked up the remainder of the penny rolls from yesterday,(they will wait for a slow day) Dumping 460.00 in separate dumps (Loomis Banks) using the 76 Pand D as walking around happy money and stacking the 4-40% with my stash. No enders, no 90's, Still it's good for me.

So after dumping I traveled my branches and set up 2 more Half boxes this week. Came home to sort pennies, not as good as yesterday but better than nothing. Gave me time to sort by decade have 1 roll of 1930's, 2 rolls of 1940's, 1 rollof 1950's, 8 Bank rolls of 1974,1975,1976 uncirc memorials I think I'll hang on to them. Nicest red in color. Here are some pics of the earliest wheat 1918, yesterdays nickels, and the 2005 S from last week the picture was bad .

I love those finds. Like that V nickel and that proof quarter. I find it strange to find proof coins in change. but I guess some are always there.

Only my 2nd V and the first I can read. The proof is a 2005 S nickel, I've found 4 mirror finished proof Nickels in the wild. People just throwing their relatives collections into circulation.

Great box, 2 of the Buffs are the best of the 8 I've found so far. On a different note big thaw here today showers and 42 degrees probably some flooding then more snow. Happy Hunting All

Got 46.50 in cr pennies mostly from the same source this past week, 2 full rolls of 30's, 40's. The 30's are all P mint except 1 1937s, no 31's,32's,33's none nada zip. 3 oldest wheats are 1917s, 1918p and a trashed 1915 or 1919 I pictured them here.




Question is a lemonade bath considered cleaning a coin? Citrus acid seems to take a lot of brown off.

Loomis Box No Silver, 2005D 3-2007D and 1980S Mirror shines nice, along with two clean Bicentenials that I switched out in the album. I have had 2 Loomis boxes both skunks. Glad I opened another bank up today order from brinks next. Pics tomorrow.

Just finished, between yesterday and today I handled 1,146.50 in coin 2 Boxes halves, 1 box nickels, 46.50 CR pennies. All that netted me 2 war nickels, a pile of pre 1961nickels, a pile of Wheats, 6 NIFC 2005D,2006D,3-2007D,2010D, 1976S (don't think it's silver) 1980S.. I'll do scope pics of anything interesting this week end I'm wiped out. Dumped eveything but the nickels today, Jammed one machine twice.

It seems like we have been getting extremely similar results with dimes and nickels so far this year! I look forward to seeing what else you find.

Think I'm done this month with Half Boxes, I'll pick up all the CR I can find though. Back to hitting nickel and penny boxes. Got 145.00 in cr wraps saturday.

35. dimes skunk
50. nickels 1 war
10. pennies (haven't done them yet.)
Bruins won yesterday and play again today, I'll watch and sort during the game. Have to get moving now I hate matinee games.

Sorted them Sunday nothing exciting. I got a box of pennies today and 22.50 in cr pennies. 3 keeper wheats 1949S,1950S,1953S the 49 went into the album the 50;53 are extras. Nickels today 24.00 CR nothing good No Silver, 40's 50's all philly few denver nothing exciting. Took some pics of the 50S and 53S here they are
