No one wants to guess ? Oh well. I did the bank tour today and at the last one the teller had 3 halfs, I'll take them, "No I have these 3 and 3 boxes in the back." So I came home with a box, plus a box of nickels, and pennies I picked up earlier. Stopped by the grocery store and a girl was using Coin star told her I'd buy her rejects got 2 wheats and some canadian for a quarter, the next girl I gave her the same deal she got a buck for Bermuda coins and a handful of pennies nothing special.

Box of halfs Garda - Skunk
30.00 Cr dimes - skunk
Box brinks Nickels- 2 war 1943P 1945S
Pennies can wait

Nice nickel box. I average about one war nickel per box, so two in a box is a bonus.

Brink's Nickels and 18.50 CR pennies today. Started the pennies first, not much a worn 1919, and 1934 decent shape the rest 40's and 50's 10 wheats in all. Broke open the Nickels and the second wrap had a 44P war. The next came about halfway thru the box a 45P. along with a Date less Buff, and a worn Liberty 1889.

Keep searching they're out there. My best nickel boxes were always Brinks, and the same bank. Nickels and pennies for the rest of the month, along with any CR halves I can find.

Thanks SilverCounselor !
Happy Hunting !

Looks like you're making lots of nice finds. Nice V-nickel. You don't come across those every day. I do lots of nickels and I've only found one ever.

I like nickels they're cheap and available just about anywhere. The V's are rare got 3 so far 2 readable in these last 2 months.

This is my 2 month CRH anniversary with working on 5 albums.

My nickel needs are 38 D, S, 39 D, 43D, 44 D,S , 45D . Missing in one folder and 13 missing in the other folder.
My half folder only needs a 64D maybe pop out the 70 D.
My 1909 thru 1940 lincoln is near half done. 53 holes here (Tough to fill )
My 1940 thru 1974 has 5 holes 41S, 43S, 48S, 52S, 55S.

Nickels and Penny Boxes for the rest of the month along with CRW of anything that looks interesting.

Amazing that you've come so close to completing your nickel album in so short a time. Amazing that you already have the 1950-D key date. Your missing dates appear to be nearly identical to mine. I'm missing the all the 1938's, the 1939-D and three of the silvers. But it took me a lot longer than 2 months--more like about a year.

38p and 39p show up all the time especially when you're taking everything 61 and older. I've caught a few by checking 58,88, and 59,89 closer. That and a box a day put my numbers up. Like to have this page up when breaking down a box. Jefferson Nickels - US Coin Prices and Values

Keep Hunting !
