Figured I would post my finds since I just picked up 5 boxes of assorted coins from the bank.

So far I have:
60-75 of wheats/2 boxes of copper
2 buffalo nickels
3 silver dimes
1 silver quarter
3 40% halves

That was out of about:
7-8 boxes of pennies
1 box of nickels
1 CRW box of dimes
$600 in quarters, 100 crw is where I found the silver
2 boxes of halves


This week I am searching through:
2 boxes of pennies
2 boxes of nickels
1 box of dimes

So far, 1 roll of pennies has gotten me 2 wheat cents, 1 canadian cent, and 1 2010 dime. MRW btw. Wish me luck on the start of something new!

Finished the 5 boxes from prior week, results are as follows.

2 boxes Pennies -
Approx. 1000 95% cents
Approx. 40 wheats, plus a couple to add to my books
Approx. 50 canadians
7 dimes found in penny rolls, the rolls were MWR and the dimes were completely normal. Went through 10 boxes so far and never once had this happen to me.

2 boxes Nickels -
1 silver war nickel, nothing else to note aside from coins added to books.

1 box Dimes - Skunked completely, nothing to add to books.


For this next week, I am getting 2 boxes of pennies and 1 box of halves, I should be expecting to pick them up on friday and post results next wednesday. I post wednesday cause that's when my bank gets their coins


Current silver total found CRHing - Approx. .8978 Troy ounces. I'm thinking a modest goal would be to find 3-4 ounces of silver by the end of the year. I'll set my goal at 5 though for 1 box of halves per week.

Writing this a bit late at night but whatevs.

2 boxes of pennies -
got about 2000 copper cents, seems normal with the amount of wheats, nothing special.

Box of halves -
1x 1966 40% and also a 1972 Proof. Couple NIFC here and there but nothing too spectacular.

Also found quite the steal on 10 1964 kennedy's and picked those up.

Total silver is 4.6627 with the silver I picked up for the week. Ordered a box of halves that I sort of already went through, as well as a box of pennies. Post finds here next week, ciao.

Well that was probably the fastest i've went through 3 boxes of coins, they usually would've kept me for the weekend, really tempted to go searching for a box of pennies/nickels tomorrow.

2 boxes of pennies -
Normal 20-30% copper pull, I don't have an accurate count as of yet. 30 wheats with about 50 canadians.

Box of halves -
x2 1968
x1 1969
Also found 1 proof 2001S and about 6-7 NIFC of various years.

Total silver count is 5.1064oz according to coinflation. Not counting the silver 64s I bought it would be 1.4894oz.

Also I am interested, would any of you like me to post the specific dates that I find in terms of wheats and whatnot? It only takes a minute or two longer to write out. Also I can give a full list in what i've found in searching 11 boxes of pennies so far if anyone is so interested.

Also got a 68' proof nickel from pocket change.

Is it a true proof or is it a business strike? They made both that year so would need to see a photo.

ICEE: on the wheat pennies, it would be nice to know the dates of those below 1940, otherwise just the qty count of 40's & 50's are fine. Keep on reaping the wheat.

Ordered 2 boxes of halves, great turnout this week

Post my penny results here in a bit.

Total silver content found HUNTING = 3.6917oz which means I just almost tripled my silver collection found roll hunting.

2 boxes of halves this week. Post pennies later

1st Box -

x1 1959 canadian half dollar (.329oz of silver)

2nd Box - SKUNKED

First skunk in a while, can't say I haven't seen it coming with the streak i've been on. Going to post past 2 weeks of pennies since I didn't do the pennies last week with vets day causing delays and whatnot. Got 5 boxes of pennies coming in for the next update so watch out!

Silver found hunting to date = 4.1686oz. Happy to get a half ounce out of here!

2 halves, i'm just now starting to get around to the pennies.

Also with a good number of NIFC for both.

I didn't order any pennies for this week because I have too many to go through already. 2 more boxes of halves though so that should hopefully get some silver.
