Just started this hobby about a month ago.. Heres what I have.. up to yesterday

First six boxes halves, with one of the boxes being a skunk...

1 1972 silver plated labeled CRH LOL Damn trolls!
1 gold plated 1980 with an additional 1960-1980 stamp

Box number 7 results:

No silver, Just a 1991 proof to save me from my second skunk.. New box tomorrow . And my second crh troll.. Who else has run into coins from this joker?? It's plated go to look like a non clad coin and says crh lol! on front and on back says ag CR FL 12-15...

Yep! Works da bomb! Make the count so far tonight 11 40%.. Few rolls left, will update later in week when the woman gets to them.. Of course, the roll I grabbed to do that I saved for her had two in.. Watch the rest be skunk... LOL

Grabbed another roll I left for her to do, of course it had 3 in it.. 2 68 and 1 65.... and she did one... a 68 and a 67.. On a roll for this box! Puts us at 16 with 3 rolls to go!

Sooo.. Last weeks Fri box or halves ended with 18 instead of 16 40% halves,.. This week's Tues box of halves has a final total of 21 40% halves: 3-66 7-67, 7-68, and 4 69's... Been great for 40's lately, but I can't remember the last 90 I got.... I had really high hopes when I started w my first box having a '41 walking liberty... The fun of the hunt!!

Box 9: Silver skunk, but a 2007S
Box 10, Silver skunk, and about 60 almost uncirculated 1997 halves... Debating throwing them in the box of stuff to keep for 30 years..... Thoughts?

It seems like a $30 investment with no real potential of paying off even after 30 years from now given the extreme numbers of 1997 half dollars out there. You could keep a couple just for fun...maybe.

Box 11 and 12 skunkola too.. Takes far longer to go thru a box when you havent found any silver in a while... LOL

Box 18, Found my first Benny, a 62 plus a 64.. The skunk streak has paused, at least momentarily.. Havent seen any of my marked coins come back yet either... so fingers crossed.
