Hit the 100 box mark today... attached are my updated totals:

2,113 pre-1960 dated coins... so that's 21.13 per box of 2,000 or 1 every 95 coins.
79 Silver War Nickels... so that's 1 in every 1.27 boxes or 1 every 2,532 coins.
30 Buffalo nickels... so that's 1 every 3.33 boxes, or 1 every 6,667 coins.
14 Proof Nickels... so that's 1 every 7.14 boxes, or 1 every 14,286 coins.
9 Key Date Jeffersons... so that's 1 every 11.11 boxes, or 1 every 22,222 coins.
2 V nickels... so that's 1 every 50 boxes, or 1 every 100,000 coins.

Here's my spreadsheet with the complete breakdown...

jcole77: don't over-do with quantities, otherwise you might wind up like me, CARPUL TUNNEL in my right hand, plus artritis in both hands/knuckles. Take it easy & enjoy the hobby. HH, DozerD

Thank you... I take lots of breaks and do other stuff all the while... also, I've been blessed with double-jointed fingers so I've been told I'm less likely to get CTS than other people.

I knocked off the Halves (1980-S Proof was the only find), and Nickels this afternoon/evening... found two Buffalos (the one with the hard to read date is a 1920), a 45-S, and a 2009-P... success!

I bought a ton of coins on Saturday... 3300 cents, 1800 nickels, and 2200 dimes... here are the highlights... a hole filler 1912 wheat and a BU 54-S were the best cents... a 45-P War Nickel and 64-D dime also made it fun!

That feeling you get when a shiny 1938 nickel falls out of the roll...:icon_thumright:

CWR's is most likely the ONLY WAY that you will find a 1943 steelie, with magnets on nearly ALL coin counters.

I've found 5 steels now, but two of those came via Coinstar if memory serves me right... As for the others, I am positive 2 of them came out of CWR... I will have to double-check my records on the other one...

Went a little overboard with my post-Thanksgiving searching... 13,800 nickels and 8,200 cents in the past 4 days of searching have yielded some nice finds... including a 1911 wheatie, hole filler 1935-D and 1940-D wheats, two Buffalos (dateless one not pictured), 3 War Nickels, nice semi-keys in a 1942-D, 1949-S (not pictured) and 1950, along with the best condition 2009-P I have found to date.
