Any CTX software updates in the wind...

With all the news about their new detectors it sure would be nice if there was some update love for the CTX i cant remember the last meaningfull software update it received.

Does the CTX need a update? Probably not. I like what I read about it.

I talked to Minelab Yesterday, 10/17 and asked were there any updates available for the CTX - the last one was in 2014 which added pinpoint always on and seawater additions to modes - no other updates at this time - they did add update in 2016 adding Chinese to the language selections as well but I don't speak Chinese - LOL

In all honesty, there’s plenty of areas that could use improving IMO. How about more stability at higher manual sensitivity settings? Or more accuracy in the nickel slot VDI on nickels at depth? I hope they aren’t abandoning the users who shelled out $2500 for these new just to beat the drum for the Equinox line.
