Hello

Just bought a CTX and I wanted the compound Bow case but realised that carrying the thing over hill and dale was going to kill my back so I bodged up a set of Ruck strap shoulder Straps for it that, when the case is removed also acts as a Swing Harness (when I clip my bungee on).

I just cut the back of one of those hiking rucksacks (you know the ones - with metal bars running down the back and straps no one every really understands the function of) and moved some clips around. Plus I used the extra straps and clips to secure the CTX and bits in the case.

Its really stable on the back and allows me to take all my gear to those far away spots. I'm well chuffed with it.

Well...I’m not sure what being “well chuffed” is all about but I think you might want to see the doctor about that.:laughing7:And to be SURE, someone will be along shortly to inform you that if you had just bought an Equinox, you wouldn’t have to worry about “weight” and a harness and such...so be prepared for that!
