If a person is really concerned with not getting the control box wet you can leave it in the car/truck. The Deus does not need the control box to work. Just the coil and the headphones work just fine. You can control the Deus from the headphones of you want. Just use a stick with a coil on it!

I have already had the headsets fall off my head, so for water use will stick with waterproof case and ear buds.

Plus case keeps it clean as well..
