Just got my anderson carbon fiber shaft for the deus

I like it, is it a lot lighter?

Its close to the same weight just a tad heavier need to weigh it but the position of the shaft (straight shaft) allows you to keep your coil to the ground better than the factory shaft imo. I like to swing my coil low and level to the ground and the shaft will also extend out a long ways. the problem I was having is I was extending my lower rod out so far I was getting alot of flex in the factory shaft and this shaft does not do that . The hand grip being on top will take a little getting used to but overall love it so far.

Do you know if they make just a lower carbon fiber shaft that would fit the stock unit?

they dont. I need to swing this one a little more the grip is at a different angle and I need to get use to it. it will probaly be for my 11 and possibly a 13 .

Now you'll be able to have two XPs if you decide to run one off the WS4 and the other off the Remote.

Congrats on the Anderson shaft. The 13" coil is wobble free with this shaft. This Deus stuff is addictive. I now have 2 Deus shafts, 1 Anderson shaft, 2 remotes, 2 ws4's, 1 ws5, 1 Vance muff, 1 ea. 9",11",13" coils, 1 XP case...... Now if that new coil and pinpointer would come out I'd be in seventh heaven.

Thanks for making me look not so crazy with my 2 WS4's, Remote, and 9 and 11" coils/shafts (plus the water kit, wrist mount and stem mount for the WS4 module, Wave cases, and XP Hard Case). The pinpointer sounds cool (especially if it gives off an accurate VDI/tones like the Sun Rays), but I am pretty happy with my Garrett Pro Pointer (The Carrot). Really would like to see that smaller coil.

Lol, same here. I have the Vance muffs, the WS4, the remote control, and the 11" coil. When v4 finally comes out (if ever), I'll have the new 6x9 coil as well. So all I'll need is a shaft to make 2 complete units. Wow nice! Love my Deus (soon to be Deuses)...

Who needs more than one Deus? I guess I do...... 11" WS4, 9" WS4 with remote and a tall man shaft for the 11". It took some of the "slop" out it since I run them extended (6'3").... Looking forward to the pin pointer.
