I went to a spot to try full tone in "Noise". That's the best way to describe it. That's all you hear at this site non stop.
It was almost three and in a hour and a half, dark. I wanted to prove to my self that this Deus was not "All That". It has impressed me but I just didn't believe it could bring life back to what I'd swear was a cleaned out area. So I thought.
After the first two deep shotgun shells. A whisper of high tone in between the grunts. Cleaned out the leaves and still a high tone but faint. At 9-10" a Indian Head. That's at least 13" with leaves and me swinging above. I had a hard time believing that to, but it is what it is. I was sold at that moment. So when I dug up the L.I.R.R. Baggage Tag and the two Charms, it was just icing on the cake. The ability to work in the Iron Noise and single out objects with the Deus in Full Tones is outstanding.
Good Luck and HH.

All I have ever used is full tones for relics. The deus is like that and yes it is all that . nice finds btw I have found numerous good finds on hunted out sites.

That RR luggage tag is cool. Any way to nail down its age?

I use the 11" coil. I was having a hard time justifying to myself to buy the 9" when I'm used to a 13".

Not really they were made from 1880's to 1920's like that. However in 1890's the railroad knocked some homes down to continue further out on the island. This came from where one of the homes stood.
