Went back to my iron beach for a quick hunt and only dug 2 keepers.

A penny and this ring, nicer then most silver rings that I normally find.

I think it is a older one, with a Citrine stone and 4 chips. Or it could be all colored glass :tongue3:

Here it is cleaned up a little

Congrats great find! On age, did you shine it up or did it come out looking like that? If older (newer is typically marked .925, older Sterling) very nice, can't decide if it looks Victorian or Art Deco, I'm guessing the latter. Art Deco jewelry even silver can be worth a few bucks.

Thanks. I gave it a quick cleaning, it wasn't too bad as it was in the dry sand and did not not corrode. It is marked STERLING The beach has been in use since at least 1870's or so.
