I thought i would post my finds for this year. Nothing to brag about but it was fun being outdoors, enjoying the sunshine and getting a little exercise. Sadly No CW relics, not that I wouldn't love to find some, but they are pretty scarce up here.

Nothing really old, Barber was the oldest this year. 80% was water and beach hunting. The cold weather snuck up on me this year and only had a chance to get in a handfull of land hunts after the lakes got too cold. 90%+ were found using the Deus.

I really admire you guys that find 100's of silver coins and gold rings. My hunting partner and I are no slouches, but we don't even come close to many of you guys totals.

Good thing I love metal detecting LOL.....

Not included is a ton of clad etc.

Shameful, positively shameful year! ARE YOU KIDDING? You had a great year! I hope some year to get half of those recoveries! Thanks for sharing. An inspiring post.

Thanks Guys. It seems that some guys on other forums find this much in 2 or 3 hunts LOL

A fish scale is a tiny silver 5 cent piece.

Great year. You can be proud of your efforts. Basically, you killed it in 2017. Who knows what these other folks are really doing when they show their mega finds. Especially that Calabash feller.

You had an amazing year in my book. I'd be embarassed to post my finds but then I do it for the adventure and getting outdoors. On a more positive note, I did add a significant number of pull tabs to my collection.

Very well done. I only got one gold, whereas you have a nice selection. I need to dig more mid tones.

Congrats sir.

quite the collection, there are thousands of people out there who would give anything to have found half of what you found. You managed to find very interesting and very cool finds as well as the very coins and such that many are just hoping to find one of. not everyone has the great relic places or beach accesses to find the volume or super impressive pieces. some can hunt only where money or lack of allows them to hunt. Heck, there are people still trying to find a wheatie. I'd call your finds quite successful and impressive.
