Its not known who made it . Its so rare not much info on it at all.

It also shows how times have changed. When do you think the practice of honoring Presidents with cufflinks and buttons ceased? Certainly before my lifetime? Or maybe it is still a tradition I am unaware of? I found an expired auction for JFK cufflinks but not sure they were from that era or repops? I sure wish there was more information on the Adams cufflinks. Incredible stuff.

Sounds like a job for the History Detectives on PBS ...... would be pretty cool to see if it’s possibly a national presidential treasure or ?
