Hi all, does anyone use neg disc and if so what setting would be good to knock out ground minerals but still keep the iron? I have noticed even a small disc of 2-3 to keep the iron volume knocks out some iron and i like to hear it.

Thanks

I run -6.4 in full tones 90% of the time, if it's to much info i will go to -2.5 and that does pretty well to knock out the ground mineral noise here in my soil..

If I'm running my pitch program I run a disc of 10 and iron volume from 1-3 depending on how loud I want it...

I also run Gary's ultimate program modified a little bit with -6.4 to -2.5 disc... sometimes I run 0 disc as well

And then Gary's sifter program. I run at -2.5 to 0 disc

I always use the pumping method/manual ground balance as well...
