Went back to the place where I found a 1826 Largie and a 2 cent piece. I found these 2 interesting coins. One is French Canadian Un Sou from around 1830's and the other is an 1816 half penny that commemorates Sir Isaac Brock who fought the Americans in the war of 1812. Here are links to read about them if you want to find out more about them. I was using the Deus with the 11" X35 coil in 12K as 4K was too chatty. Lots and Lots of iron. Finally I went to -2.5 on disc and heard it all and then things opened up. With disc at 10 the falsies were abundant to say the least. Running with no disc really helped. I'd like to go back one more time and try around 28K and pitch with low disc and see if I can pull anything else out of there.

Gene - yeah, if you are running full tones (not sure, but it sounds like you were), definitely need to run without disc (0 or less) so you can hear it all and better ignore the falses. Very cool, unusual finds.
