Got permission to hunt the large gravel parking area of a closed down strip club. Thinking there might be some lost wedding bands out there. Any recommendations on settings ?

watch the detector and not the club if your going at night :laughing7:

Coins are everywhere, dug over 100 in the first hour. One small silver ring, 3 nickels, and 1.5 million pull tabs. No gold...yet. The large gravel and compact bed below it makes for tough digging, didn’t attempt any5hing deeper than about 3 inches. Going back tomorrow.

Use the same settings you would use if you were wearing clothes. And be careful with your pinointer.

I worked at a strip Club for Years.
if it was only a strip club,

I doubt any Rings. unless accidental.
there were never any fight issues,
place was Known for Fights, but only on Band Nights.
Never on strip Nights.

But cool on the Coins !

I have been trying detect two old bar parking lots, always thought they might be good to detect but cant seem to find out who owns the property...these bars have been closed for 30-40 years now and just had gravel parking lots,,,the buildings have been torn down long ago... I hate to just pull into what was the parking lot and start detecting then have to deal with the police or maybe the current owner holding a shotgun....

If you get the Chance Expect to use a Pick or Hammer & Screwdriver.
Also expect most of the coins to look like someone was Chewing on them,
from cars running over them & Grinding them in the Gravel.

Doin it all wrong.......

Tell a buddy (Maybe not a brainiac buddy) that you want to take him to the strip club and not to worry about needing money.......

Once your there, give him the shovel and explain you will point at the spot he is to dig....

BAM!

Easy diggin for you, go deep man, go deep,

Jim
