Much Better Than A Wheat Penny!

So I’m not sure how to look at this; did the shield nickel cause the Barber dimes to down average, or did the Barber dimes cause the shield nickel to up average? At any rate, these three coins were stacked right on top of each other about 7 inches down in the hole.

The TID was a solid 80 in 12 kHz so I was thinking wheat penny all day long. Boy was I surprised!

The Nickel is the wild card pulling things down. If it had only been one dime the average would have been even lower. From what I have seen a nickel will always dominate.
