Time Searchers Program # 9 "The Colonial Blockhouse part 3"

This is our way of documenting and preserving the past for the future generations. Time Searchers, the original metal detecting adventure series-often imitated never duplicated.

On this video The Time Searcher & The Colonial Relic Hunter are still hunting at the Old Colonial Blockhouse but a 150 or so yards away from the Blockhouse. The finds have been getting slim and it was time for a change to move closer up stream.

Bill is detecting up near the end of the plowed field & by the edge of the woods and the stream/creek is only a few feet away when Bill gets a signal that is all over the place, like it was a doubled sound. Bill gets down and digs down and he trying to find the artifact but has a hard time. Then Bill sees the artifact lying just under the root system of the weeds. Bill picks it out of the hole to shows everyone what it is. Lying in his hands is an old colonial coat button from the 1770's.

Rodger gets a nice signal and Bill has his doubts it's anything good. Then Rodger starts digging, then all of a sudden, Rodger sees it lying just next to were he had dug, is a big old colonial musket ball. Rodger is so excited with his find and Bill still could not believe what he is seeing!

Then Rodger & Bill give their insights on the find and about Indian artifact hunters, and about how Bill found a copper once just laying on top of the ground just like Rodgers colonial musket ball.
Rodger was saying "the ground is like an ocean" once in awhile it does give something up good!

Then Bill later gets another signal and he describes why he thinks it might be junk or an iron target!
Bill he loves iron signals so he starts digging! Bill digs down and sure enough it was a iron target as Bill describes. Bill & Rodger gives us in detail why we should dig these signals. Then Bill quotes the Great Relic Hunter Ed. Fedory.. "RUST IS A MUST"

Well we here at Time Searchers hope you enjoyed the show. Remember we are here to document and preserving the past for the future generations, and to educate you while entertaining you at the same time. We feel here that we learn better while having fun! www.TimeSearchers.net
