Everyone that has a boat and uses it a lot, has probably named it. I'm not ashamed of mine. I have a boat that's not good enough for diving, but I can snorkel from it. It's an 18 footer with a single diesel engine. Her name is the Emerald Eagle.
This is my boat the ENTERPRISE, she is for sale since I am now living and working overseas and not able to maintain her. She is the perfect project boat for someone, Just PM me if your interested, I will entertain all legit offers.
first boat I had was baby ruth, second was the dickdo, third was edna, fourth is an unnamed inflatable, and if I ever finish my motorsailor it will be privateer.
had an unnamed homemade boat and a sailboat I fixed up and sold with no name either.
I have a 1964 16 foot Orlando Clipper with dual 18 hp Johnsons that is named OL Snookie .I bought it from the origanal owner and he had it painted on the side. I have had it for 10 years now and still call her that.
Last year we bought a boat...still not named...22' Center Console.
The SU likes "Tradition" and another one I can't recall....I thought it would be funny to name it "Pole Dancer" since it IS a fishing boat. He was less than enthused with that suggestion
Thanks Wreckdiver1715 I have been watching this site for awhile finally joined today.
Vibes, I think thats an excellent name for a fishing boat. I think you should go ahead and make an Executive decision and get that put on it.
"Does anyone know where the love of god goes when the waves turn the minutes to hours"
First was after named after my Mother and Grandmother the "Florence Rose", second was Girlfriend "SuzQzee" now have boat already named "Island Dreamer". Vibes, I really like "Pole Dancer" , maybe you need a new one (SU) lol?

Re: The Name of Your Boat
A better question for me is....
Which boat
Here are a few of my ever burgeoning fleet
The first is the "Enterprise" Every time you move this boat... you have to take out your wallet!
The second is the "Privateer" Everything about this little pirate ship is right, right down to the
built in "hooka", new honda 4 stroke, tabernacled masts and air conditioning....
Problem is I need to loose about 50 pounds to fit in her
Next is the "Tank"....
Actually this is my brother-in-laws but it is kept in my back yard and we work in shore with her
at the Jupiter Wreck.... Mad about wrecks took this photo of us watching a manatee swim into our
dig hole!
Here is our {second best favorite)! She is 104 years old and still can float if you keep the pumps running!
The last however is my favorite
However it is under this pile of rocks!
It is the San Miguel Arcangel sank in 1660 - and you all
know her as the Jupiter Wreck!!!
All the wood work is gone....
No sails to tend.....
don't have to worry about
her sinking....
or going anywhere!!!
Since 1987 our Jupiter Wreck has continued to yield coins but the question, "Where's the rest of the Ship?" has remained unanswered... There are 2 layers of shipwreck scatter and we are equipping the "Enterprise" to excavate the primary treasure layer. Join with us this year!
