    about moving sand with a water dredge

    Hi All,
    anyone could tell me, how many feet above the water line a water dredge can lift sand and gravel ? anda airlift ?
    I am doing some dredging task and I want to find the cheapest and practical way to lift material from a a little pond 10' deep, lifting material 8' above the water. I eventually can get electricity. Thanks.
