Nida Core is expensive. I've used the Penske products in the past with good results for the customers that could afford it.

Of course it's expensive. It's marine related.

Update,

Scuba Tank holders going in, we are dropping the bottom of the 14 tanks through the floor into the bilges to get weight both forward ( port side 6 ) and lower with the 8 aft, 4 either side leaning against the outer hull in compartments (8 inch PVC pipe)

Not many one or two when I do take people out but if I go on an exped for a few days I want to be able to do a bunch of dives each day without having to lug my compressor. Hence the floor fridge ha ha,

Do you ever anchor and sleep in the cabin? It always scared the crap out of me when I did that. I was always scared something would happen in the middle of the night, like with Mel Fisher's son.

Jason,
I am with you on that. I sleep in the middle of the back deck under the Bimini on a camping pad I have a towel ready to throw over my head if I am too close to shore and the bugs are biting and a tarp ready to throw completely over me if it starts raining as the Bimini is high off the deck

Too hot in the cabin too, did I say it gets used in the " Bahamas" ha ha

Depending on the breeze or wind anything from a few hundred yards if it's breezy to half way to Africa if it isn't!!

If there is no wind you literally can't be within site of land without getting bothered, a mile is too close here.

Wow, I thought you were joking about welding the axles! Floor is looking great though. My hubs are being delivered today and springs should be here late this week. It will be spring before I install all of it though as winter is setting in hard now...

How far are you pulling the trailer?

Max about 5 to 6 miles over good roads about 35 mph.

Not interested in investing hundreds of dollars in a trailer that's not worth hundreds of dollars.....

I can understand that. You could always just run a lower tire pressure to soften the ride some.

How are you applying the gelcoat ? I think it can be sprayed, brushed and rolled? Or am I mistaken?
