That Oxylithe sounds like todays zeolite that they use in oxygen concentrator machines.If you get it wet it will catch fire.

Lithium Hydroxide loves absorbing Carbon Dioxide. Speaking from experience.
Perhaps a connection here, with the letters 'lith' in the name.

If you get the media in your rebreather wet, you have far more problems than fire!
