would dowsing locate roman coins under rocks, an urn (broke)contained 50+ coins, and about 200+ loose amongst rocks was found in 1852,eyeballed (i think is you expression),
had a go at map dowsing, and asked a few questions, and got answer, that it was in a quarry now filled with 1 - 2ft water & fish, upon visiting the area, 15 miles away, found the nearest quarry to the area mentioned in 1852, to be dry, the wet quarry is just up from it, will take some photos of various parts of quarry and post....

Yes.
You could always ask to have the picture dowsed for you.
How about posting a picture without the coordinates and seeing who would like to dowse it.

[/quote] im attaching a picture, did ask again did quarry have water.... a=y
and does this quarry (1st one , before the water quarry), contain roman coins ....a=y
did the photo....into grids, scored ...y on two grid blocks (attached photo 1), then
increased magnification , again gridded it, and came up...y between two boulders to left of photo 1
(attached photo 2),
if you could get someone to verify it, i would be very grateful that im doing the map dowsing correctly,
my first map dowse said it was nr a tree, photo 1, looks like a tree located at the centre,
then aked how far away ...a= 15ft (photo 2) is about that distance
did the needle dowse and the rocks that i saw from above indicated nothing, but 15ft from that tree, said roman coins buried below, dug out 3ft of rock chippings and boulders, it must be deep
