CAVE DOWSING

ANY good suggestions on how to dowse for caves...l rod or what?
There are 197 caves in the county<recorded>, so what do we use

Some folks use flashlight light bulbs as pendulums for caves and claim that they are good for sealed caves with no air circulation. Others use open mouth small glass bottles as pendulums and claim that they are good for caves with circulating air. The proof is in the finding. I would suggest that you take your instrument and go to the closest known cave location and learn what it feels like as you approach it from different directions. When you get those reactions again you will be approaching another cave. exanimo, ss

Hey Morse....That was one of my projects this summer. I did like S.S said and went to a known cave. I used my dowsing rods to follow it up the mountain. My rods crossed and stayed crossed as long as I was on the cave. Others have told me their rods moved out when they get to a cave. Try and see what your rods tell you....Art
