Test
If you strech you're fingers and place a dollar bill on top of you're palm it will begin to curl up if you have strong bioenergy. I've heard that some dowsers can make it curl more than 360 degrees. I can make it go only about 180. BTW does "science" have an explanation for that?

Absolutely... you can explain it, too, using that dreaded "science," with a simple experiment. Before placing the dollar bill on your palm, first cover your palm with a thin plastic film, like Saran Wrap. See if this blocks that ol' "bioenergy".

What does this ?parlor trick? have to do with Dowsing for treasure?
~~~~~
HI: Many of the advances in science began with simple "parlor tricks". Being a bonefide Engineer you should know this.
Your answer is not called for, it indicates a closed mind.
Instead you should analyze/think as why this might happen, if it does.
I.e. as a crude example, is the heat from the palm causing an uneven expansion of the materiel of the bill causing it to curl upwards since the palm side would be warmer?
Carl's suggestion of the plastic insulator is far far more scientific, even if presented with a tongue in cheek attitude.
This is not presented as an answer, but as a line of possible reasoning instead of blanket rejection.
Incidentally, why haven't any of you ever answered my question? It is a legitment one.
Re: Test
HiiiQ,
Didja get a chance to try the Saran Wrap experiment? Here's another experiment that will demonstrate the composition of Bioenergy....
Dry your palm very thoroughly. Use a hairdryer to really get the skin dry. Put the dollar bill on your palm and see what happens. Next, wet your palm thoroughly. Dry it only lightly. Put the dollar bill on your palm and see what happens.
1: Did you figure out what "bioenergy" is causing the dollar bill to curl up?
2: Are you surprised at how easy it is for science to come up with an explanation?
A) HI, the "K" Karl. You, the "C" Carl, I have respect for, even if you are as bull headed as I am.
Hmm, so moisture could do it also?? figures, however, that does not rule out the possibility of another energy also being present and contributing.
Yup, I suppose you could argue that Saran Wrap might also block the "other energy", or that a thoroughly dry palm might be a poor conductor of the "other energy". But, per Occam's Razor, science suggests taking the simplest explanation that is supported by the evidence. Especially when evidence is lacking that would support an alternate explanation.
Experiment #3...
How to show that a paper towel has "Bioenergy"...
Take a damp paper towel... lay it on a table... place a dollar bill on top of the damp paper towel and see what happens.
1: Does the paper towel contain more or less "bioenergy" than the palm of your hand?
2: Is the amount of "bioenergy" that the paper towel inflicts upon the dollar bill affected by whether a dowser, or a skeptic, performs the experiment?
HI CARL, I suggest going to the lead on paranormal etc. on a post for today by me on a little experiment.
