In this picture, there is an old unmarked cemetary that contains at least 3 of my relatives from the early 1800's. They are talking of building a brand new Exxon Gas station right on top of it. The graves of unmarked and I need help trying to locate them to prove that this IS a cemetary. If anyone could dowse these graves for me I would appreciate it. I am going out this afternoon with my rods to try and locate them, but wanted to see if you guys could give me a good starting point. Thanks- EastTexasDigger
Ok, Just seems weird that there are 3 other cemetaries in Texas called Newton that are just as old but the one you posted is not on the list for this location. I would have thought that during the title search of this land for exxon that it would have been discovered it was a cemetary at one time.

Hey Everyone,
Just wanted to let you know we found the graves this afternoon. They were under an old cedar tree. I did find them with my dowsing rods. There were three graves facing the East about two feet apart. One male and two females. The location was actually in the Northern most corner of the trees just above the google maps coordinate marker. Thanks for all of your help.
I was floored when I woke up this morning to find your post. Before I posted this subject on the forum, some of my family and I went to the site with our dowsing rods to see if we could locate anything "blindly". I am not kidding you when I say you hit exactly where we did with our rods two days ago. You are truly amazing. "Our" relatives,....were as I stated, in the very top corner of the tree plantation. However you hit in the exact spots where we hit the very first day we looked. Good job man,...even though it blows my mind. Thanks so much for your time, and I look forward to working with you on other projects. - EastTexasDigger
Hello there easttexsdigger.
You are welcome. Thanks for posting your picture. I'm thrilled you found your family. Now that you have the proof you were looking for, is there something that can be done to keep the cemetery from being developed over?
Looking forward to working with you again,
Jon
