dowsing rods for paranormal activity

i was on a ghost tour and the tour guide was using dowsing rods. the one in his left hand kept spinning in circles and the other did nothing. i have no experience with rods but have heard they can pick up on electromagnetic fields of energy. why would the one keep spinning all the time. thanks.

It's the operators personal "code" (yes or no) response to a question posed and/or image retained in the mind of the user and/or indicatating the direction to follow or not to follow to the object of the operator's search. Yes the rods will react to electromagnetic fields but the person needs to be part of that.
When a person starts to incorporate their mind into the process, the more sensitive and selective the reactions become.
When using 2 angle rods, a person's yes/no reactions can be a variety of movements.
Next time you go to a ghost tour, ask the person using the rods what is going on.
