    Dowsing for fun

Ive thought about killing some time this winter, so if you want to help me out, let me know if I can dowse something for you.If you are close enough to me,I may be able to travel, or maybe you have a map that you want dowsed> In any event , I use handmade metal rods ,either iron or copper, whatever I have available. Its a hobby I am very good at. I dont claim mystical longrange abilities to see ancient mines etc etc. My "mineral rods" find an amazing array of items,, I cannot tell you what Ive found or its depth,, however theres always something in the ground after the rods cross. The analomies range from keys to rings to ores or minerals and the like.Hit us up , and lets kill some time by working it to death. db

Odd that you should mention that you cannot tell what you've found or at what depth...this seems to be a constant factor of all dowsers...

    Re: Dowsing for fun

forum title is genl discussion perhaps not all dowsers fit your inventory of dowsing lore and i work much harder at my hobby than most work at their "job" sheesh you need to get out more thats why my post is here,,, thats because im honest about my gift and lastly i dont take quitters diggin with me so no sense of telling your not interested before you know the stakes,,,,, looks like all bad company to me,, all i did was try to garner interest in a treasure hunt,,,, i dont really need anyones blessing or ballyhoo,,,,, if you dont bring anything positive to my project,, then youre probably a liability or a tinhorn anyway... thanks for replies db

Where you located? If I can find my old map, I may have something for you.

Because they don't have show & tell there...nobody is willing to show their finds...

    Re: Dowsing for fun

stefan, a quick look at any metal detecting "finds" forum section, will show scores of old coins continually found with detectors, right? And a quick look at any "beach" detecting bragging forum, will show many gold jewelry items that detectors find there, right? So it seems natural to ask/wonder "where are the finds from the dowsing forum?" However, if you try to ask the advocates this question, they've got that covered: They decline to post their results, because they "don't want the IRS meddling around." Afterall, they go for "big ticket items" (jars of coins, treasures, etc...) right? So they "keep mum" as to "avoid scrutiny from theives or the IRS". No kidding! This is what they'll say!

But in any case, a few supposed "finds" pix do surface. I mean, a simple look at any old magazine advertisement will show you the photos of the guys posed next to their jars of old coins they found. How can you argue with photographic evidence of success? Oh, and mind you: they had a lead to go to wherever it was found (ie.: "grandma buried a jar on this property somewhere") and used a metal detector to "pinpoint" it.

Once again a thread is killed by sceptics who are so anxious to
demonstrate their superiority. Like many folks these days they
don't believe folks have the sense to believe the truth or know
the truth from a lie. I often wonder where that fear comes from.
Wonder but don't care. Would have liked to hear what the man
had to say. If he is still on the forum i'd appreciate a private message
from him. I've already heard what the sceptics and thought police have
    to say. siegfried schlagrule

db1guy, don't pay attention to those guys. They were put on this earth for our entertainment only, Randi pulls their strings and they dance like puppets (right Judy? ).

Just laugh at them and continue on with your posts...some of us free thinkers that aren't burdened down with poo for brains are interested in what you have to say.

The truth is a dowser will seldom get to see what other people find by dowsed maps. so often, all we get is a photo of an empty hole...after the gold coins or silver bar has been removed.

I have 3 photos here emailed to me, 8 foot deep holes that a gold cache of coins was found, a Spanish turtle marker stone, silver bar. The reason this treasure hunter contacted me, to find anything he missed.

Art is the dowser who did the first dowsings by email. Art, here is confirmation to your dowsing work...the gold bars must be there too.

Folks, that is the way it is, I get emails saying "a cache was found" and skeptics make them afraid to tell of it in the dowsing board. One even sent video to an LRL company, where the place had been dowsed to find a hollow tree hoard. Well, the manufacturer posted it immediately on the Internet to promote their LRL. The treasure hunter contacted them immediately to pull the video.

Hope this is ok, with you Art, here goes the Spanish treasure cache holes, all 3 of them.

Edit-sorry about that...I just pulled the 1st photo, one is a duplicate. I can't show the 3rd hole because a view of the canyon is included in the photo. I don't want anyone to recognize the treasure site.

By the way, this is supposed to be a turtle here...whether it is or not, the 2-box detector says treasure.
