I have a short gold vein...It may be exposed by the highway...Not worth mining but would be fun to locate...Art

White rectangle area: An attraction to alluvial gold, old mines.
White lines/oval: An attraction to placer gold in vicinity of creek/river.
Blue rectangle area: An attraction to silver coins..appear to be individual, scattered on both sides of trail/road and near the creek/river. Also a bandit hideout area.

Gold veins are marked by yellow circle. Red circles for old mines/tunnels. Circle/X a sealed cave/tunnel.

bman3725,
Since some of the silver is associated with bandits/outlaws I asked if they had a base of operations in the area and received a yes answer. That could mean anything from a lone bandit on a horse waiting around to a dwelling place in a cave or abandoned mine in the area.

Looks great bman3725 to see some "yeller" stuff. I belong to a gold prospecting club, but live to far away, to go often enough.

 I can dig it! "WP"
Bman......
Just a word of caution ...... it's a good idea to crop your google earth photos enough to eliminate the coordinates.
Also highway markers and landmark titles should be "painted" over as well. Or else eliminate them from showing up by unchecking the highways and landmarks option on google earth.
GG~

That is the first thing I thought when I saw the map. I knew exactly where it was within 1 min. Pretty close to that big town just NW of the shot.
