I have a short gold vein...It may be exposed by the highway...Not worth mining but would be fun to locate...Art

bman3725,
Since some of the silver is associated with bandits/outlaws I asked if they had a base of operations in the area and received a yes answer. That could mean anything from a lone bandit on a horse waiting around to a dwelling place in a cave or abandoned mine in the area.

Looks great bman3725 to see some "yeller" stuff. I belong to a gold prospecting club, but live to far away, to go often enough.

Bman......

Just a word of caution ...... it's a good idea to crop your google earth photos enough to eliminate the coordinates.
Also highway markers and landmark titles should be "painted" over as well. Or else eliminate them from showing up by unchecking the highways and landmarks option on google earth.

Thanks for the advise. But it would be impossible to get anything here unless you know the landowners also it's some tough territory. But all the same thanks for the advise ill need it for future posts didn't think of that

That is the first thing I thought when I saw the map. I knew exactly where it was within 1 min. Pretty close to that big town just NW of the shot.
