Jon - thanks! Looks like you and Red both have indicated an interesting location for a coin cache. There is an old road there that leads down to where a mill stood in the late 1700's to about 1830. That's not in the corn field so I can get there pretty quick - it's very overgrown and thick with brambles. I have found lead CW era bullets in the areas you marked in white also. Thanks for giving up some of your time to dowse this area - most appreciated!
