The best thing I can tell you is to go out and use it and determine yourself if it is any good..Art

OK. I been wanting to try some river banks. A lot of it is farmland. Or cattle. I'm waiting on weather we got our permits for cave in rock. There's supposedly 100k in gold buried somewhere there.

You could practice over a septic tank, see how they respond as getting near the edges and right over it.

I have one and it gets better the more you practice with it. Mostly you need to get comfortable with balancing it.
And yes, I have been successful with it.

To find gold in a cave, it would help to know if the gold signal you pick up is actually in a cave. Septic tanks for dowsing are like an underground vault, but with no gold signal. It is good to recognize signals from underground voids and structure to identify a gold cave. You would check for gold also, 2 very different types of signal.

I mentioned practicing over a septic tank, but your baited gold technique would need to be refined also. The gold search might be a good way to find the cave, but there should be response when checking for a cave at the spot.

Good deal. I been playing with it quite a bit. The spring handle has been a lil frustrating. Lol. Its very sensitive. Even to breathing.

Try using different Baits...Get Lab grade baits if you can...I have used piece’s of red wood when looking for gold in a redwood box...Remember that anything that fit in the bait camber can be use..

I had my property map dowsed and when I got the pics back with the places were silver were highlighted. I found a sterling silver pitcher hid in my garage from previous owner. And a silver half in the ground in another spot. I will post pics. I still have a lot of looking to do.
