Hey Everyone
I want to try dowsing,
I'm told my grandfather was good at locating water for wells by dowsing.

First of all what kind of dowsing rods do I need and where can I purchase them?

Thanks
Danny

Hi there, I'm just curious... what happened to your Grandfathers dowsing tools?

Hey Jon
Thanks for replying to my thread.
I don't know what happened to Grand Pa's tools.
He passed when I was in the 4th grade and with a large family, I only have a couple things that belonged to him.
I know he only dowsed for water when he needed to dig a well.
He may have only used a forked stick, I ask dad and that's all he remembers his dad using.
I know he buried a few bottles of liquor around too.. haha..

Thanks
Danny

Hi Danny,
There are lots of websites that sell dowsing tools. But before you spend money you can start off with cutting up 2 coat hangers into L- rods and practicing to see how you do. A pendulum can be constructed by tying a string to a metal hex nut. There have been quite a number of posts on dowsing procedures in the forum here to help get you started.
