I don't get any caches yet here. Sometimes along creeks that have a historical past, relics and coins often are deep near the banks close to the water. My one cousin lived on Tonawanda Creek in NY, which has a very old history. He found very old belt buckles and other relics in the mud just by eyeballing without a metal detector. It floods in spring, things can be washed out of the banks of the stream.

Map Doc2 there is a silver signal, might be all 3 maps be loose relics and/or coins. In Doc1, Doc3 a little bit of a gold signal, that could come from gold plated buttons or even possibly a little native gold in the stream (if it can be found there).

Try coming toward where you dug from the east and see what happens. Deep gold signals often are collected native gold particles (much more common than gold caches). That's why usually I'm avoiding the gold checking for many of the maps people post in the board (except for gold prospecting).

The solid red circles are sites, along with them I see a lot of purple line rectangles. None of them have green which is how archaeological sites (such as old ruins) usually get marked on my maps. Here is the general definition from my file for purple marked spots.

Purple line box (or outline circles) for paranormal type sites, including tombs, ancient religious artifacts, temples, spirits, and burial grounds.

Treasure hunters tend to go for the caches they think might be there and can overlook a potential treasure trove of smaller fragile artifacts.

I've found certain Native American sites can produce strong signals. Carved pendants especially, having animal heads or skulls, claws, would have been decorated with buckskin maybe feathers and beads.

Last fall before icy winter weather set in, my L-rods picked up a good strong signal, here is what was found. Top right the carving of a buffalo skull. Left side of it across the top, a claw or beak of a bird of prey. Between the 2 carvings a strip of buckskin (probably beaded) could have helped to hold the buckle sized pendant in place (along with the hole).

The complete carving does resemble a hawk, especially if a beaded strip of buckskin was used to show the color pattern of the feathers between the eye and beak. The eye of course, is the natural hole going all the way through, it was worked down made from a thicker natural "holey stone".

This signal is detected 2-3 km away from a LRL and at least 1km by L rods so may it be possible animal ruins o native gold particles?
