Could there be a vein or placer gold in there? I'm getting signals below it slightly, a lot more above and to the right. If not, I'm going to assume these signals must be rock carvings then the white circle red dot center, the entrance to a cave or tunnel.

You were wanting to find a cache? If gold nuggets are there, in the past people should have found some in the area. Now I'll have to mark the spots again.

Red circles areas only seem to be a depth of surface down to 1-2 feet. I don't think that is deep enough for gold nugget deposits, although it could be where you see the orange rectangle with the white circle and a red center. Check the red outline circles above and right, for to see if either carved rock markers or old metallic relics. Any old wells in this area? Old sealed wells can make a dowsed signal very similar a tunnel.

Well, maybe not 100% but I keep hearing more and more success feedback. There is another thread recently, won't mention who.....we map dowsed GE maps in the forum. The other day he found a tunnel entrance at one dowsed spot, I'd marked green on a photo. I thought the signal was from stones, there turned out to be stones around the opening almost like an arch (but not visible in the photo). Probably in another day he will explore it, right now the tunnel seems to lead to a red marked area on a different photo.

No map dowsing doesn't work 100% of the time, nobody ever said it does or could, only can be improved.

Purple line box (or outline circles) for paranormal type sites, including tombs, ancient religious artifacts, temples, spirits, and burial grounds.
White in general is a color indicator, I use for natural caves or man made tunnel entrances and mine shafts, other similar type excavations (including old wells, tombs, etc.).
Red circle is to mark areas, of loose or surface coins/treasure and artifacts of value, down to 1-2 feet deep.
Red line box for very deep coins/treasure or artifacts of value.
Green in general is a color indicator, I use for various other targets mostly archaeological (old ruins or foundations but especially those non-metallic objects such as Indian flints, glass, pottery, carved stone with treasure signs).
