Hey Art, very good drawing on the S pattern.
I, as Cooper, would like to hear if the target being above will cause the rods to cross??? good question Cooper.

This is why many people dig a lot of holes and find nothing and then claim Dowsing doesn’t work. I don’t use the S pattern now but it is the best when you are learning. Put a target on the ground and find the signal line about 50 foot from it. Now put a rope from the spot you marked to the target. Practice walking the line. Another thing is that the signal will continue when you have went past the target... and yes you can get signals from signals above you..Art
