Question for you expirienced dowsers?

When you dows a map for anything do you have a list of question you ask in a specific order?

exp:
1. is there lost treasure on this map?
2. is the lost treasure gold ?
3 is the lost treasure silver?
4 ect.

what is your process you use. as there is losts of variables.
Looking to see what you guy/gals are doing to get ideas to make a process for my self .

I lay the map down on a table, and starting from the left bottom corner, watching the rod or pendulum as it swings, indicating a direction. Then I ask if there are any mineral deposits, again, watching for a response. Then I ask if there are any valuable metals, such as gold or silver. Then I ask if there are buried valuables. After I have determined the most likely objects, the I can start to zero in on a specific object. If I receive no response from any of those things, then I normally try to determine whether there could be any lost objects of interest(antiques, native American relics). Sometimes I receive no hits at all on a map. Good Luck. rockhound
