You can check these 2 areas, see if any past mining history. There are still quartz veins can be found in states such as Arizona, nobody mined them because gold content is so low, it would be a waste of time. First hit was the top circle area, if anything was there might be a good place to look.

There was supposed to be a certain hill nearby which I may have missed but it is not listed on the topographical map anywhere and so this was the best I could do for the now. I e-mailed a trail guide company up there to see if they've ever heard of said hill and so hopefully they will write me back. Thank you guys for your help and maybe I'll hear back from them...but even so...if it's a mine riddled area (which it does appear to be at least in the shot that I gave for analysis) then of course my bets are off for any cache hunting there and I will have to move on.

The hill name may have changed. Buzzard hill is listed as a summit, get the website on peaks data. Buzzard Hill is in Elkhart county northern Indiana. People changed the name to Mt Wawasee, but it still is listed as Buzzard Hill for peaks or summits databases.

Make sure you get the right state name, sometimes the same hill name is also found other places.
