Get ready to dredge in California
I was at a club meeting this weekend, and they devoted a good portion of it, talking about PLP's recent win rin court that will revert all dredging back to the 1994 regulations. Same fees for permits, same season ect.... I have never dredged, but would love the opportunity to in the very near future
Public Lands for the People, Inc.
PLP WINS!!! injunction overturned - Suction Dredging permits

I believe the 4/12/2012 Petition for writ of injunction is the straw that broke the camels back...

PLP won but the state has not overturned the ban. The season would start Memorial day weekend. Unless there is a groundswell that would be willing to dredge in protest of the ban and willing to fight this in court, dredgers can be certain that they will not be heard again. The facts are on our side. Play or go home.
