Hoser john as i said i do applaud u on ur efforts also in the fight. what i took offense in is u telling me to to put the bong down and its a pipe dream that's what i took offense to. but u have to admit what we are seeing happen right now is B.S the law they passed is unjust but it just ant that we have a bigger enemy and that's the UN AND THERE AGENDA21 BLM @ USFS have all joined in with the UN and there diabolic plan to kick every body off the public lands and even the land u own. so thats what im implying we have to try and stop this one way are another.

they didnt pass a law , it is a moratorium, a ban, I am not and did not say it isn't a fight worth fighting. It is if you pay attention still being fought in court....actually six lawsuits, still in the stages of being decided if they will all be heard as one case ...and hopefully in a county that is mining relavent I.E. San Bernadino...the biggest county in the state and still one of the largest producers of valuable minerals in the state, country and world......I do think Vini has large brass Huevos......though in the whole sceme of things I sadly think he is the wiffle ball game in the parking lot of the world series.....who is gonna watch what??????? and what score will matter most?Sooooo what I was getting at was that there is already a side to help....and I dont know( as in KNOWLEDGE) if creating another smaller battle is effective at all in the much bigger picture. It to me just splits everybody up...wich I believe just disorginizes small scale miners even more....John Oates is sooo right as far as the PLP new 49rs GPAA goes....GPAA/LDMA have so many members already NEOTOKYO.....they are already organized and are comprized of the main bulk of people who feel they have so much to lose yet they have NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO legal Dept. set up to take donations and fight for .....(SPELLING GRAMMAR LESSON FREE OF CHARGE)... "Our, God given rights" I bet they have a crack marketing dept. that knows how much money was spent on mining gear...and t shirts, bumper stickers, and panning videos........how many people will pay to go to Alska and how much will they pay?????!!!!!!!!!!! What do you guys really think.... has the Massie clan made more money mining or as a commercial gold club/destination vacation provider............of the 3000 dredge permits purchased how many of those guys even came close to breaking even on costs let alone proffiting.....I am not in any way knocking the guys who produce or have in the past.....the summer of 2009 i was unemployed and the only money i earned was from dredging......i didn't even have unemployment.....we didn't stop until it was too cold not because of the ban....we never even saw an L.E.O......what is my point? I believe that this has pushed into court because of the drama on the Klamath....Dave pushed too far, the Big Wigs in the local tribe were in the pockets of some of the Non-Native Big Wigs and neither party wanted too much attention drawn to the area...due to where they were getting their main income wich isn't from Gold, Fish, Trees,or the Casino. once it was in the courts they have to have crap to come up with.... It was a perfect storm af crap and guys like us will suffer.......It is not because of any Agenda it is because once the people get into it and can't settle their differences it will end up in court and like when you have an unfounded dishonest fight you end up way off subject and finding other things to gain ground on....and spreading energy and effort in many different places....and not fighting the original true fight.........So as i said Vini I hope it works out for you. Hoser I am truely sorry that you gave so much of your life to something that was a true passionate endeavor....and were basically smacked in the face by the beuracracy and (yuck) recreational mining community........Kuger Keep on keeping on..........Neotokyo stick to sniping, If you want to go to school GO TO SCHOOL......RANGER.......spell check......Maybe John is right and we won't dredge again in Ca. ever... or with insane regs............or maybe the cases will be one case and we will get a good judge who actually follows the law.... we will see . As Russau has stated THINK before you act.......or as i will say......DO IT, JUST DON"T GET CAUGHT.......

Saw an episode of "Wild Justice" where a California warden arrested a 4" dredge operator.

He was working a in a steep sided rugged canyon, had his camp hidden very well, dredge was painted camo, but he parked his vehicle on the trail directly above his camp.

The warden looked inside the jeep, saw a gas can, said " this looks like our guy" held onto the ropes the guy was using to descend the steep bank as he climbed down, and arrested him.

If this guy would have parked a half mile away, or had someone drop him off, he never would have been found.

Good Luck, Vini

He arrested the guy just because he was speaking his mind too, total BS.
It was probably played up for the camera.

Judging by what the dredger said, this was right after the ban.
He should have just played dumb and said something like "I dont get out much, thats news to me."

What I want to know is do they leave the broken down dredge down in the canyon, have a crew come back and get it or hike it out right there? They were WAY down there.
Also, what happens to that guys gold, do they take it and pocket it or dump it back in the creek?

Now something was worked out for this guy because they showed his face and aired his story so I am going to guess he got paid by the show some amount.
Just like in the show cops, some peoples faces are blurred out and thats because they didnt give the rights to let their face be shown.

Yup... They prob send a crew to get the gear later. Mark on the GPS and leave it. Yeah, the guy who got busted prob got some payment. I would hope so.

What urked me was the "cop" was SO trying to set it up all perfect so he would be just standing there when the diver arose. So he would be SO darn cool. GET OVER YOURSELF DUDE! Do your job, I understand. But, please be a human, and understnd this man is trying to make a living, not hurting anyone, anything, treat as you would yourself.... CUZ WE ALL do shady things here and there Mr Perfect... Just saying....

I support ya Vini, like I said before, it only takes 1 person to open the right eyes.

There are pleanty of people that support you in this fight, dont lose hope because others have.

Have you thought about a petition through change.org?

Its a good way to get a bunch of signatures behind you, I mentioned it before but someone else shot it down.
The courts will have to listen if you have a 100,000+ people behind you and things will start to change.

Take care and good luck with the high banking. :)

We have several ways to fight this thing: 1. - Do nothing and hope PLP can sustain a fight all the way to the Supreme Court because the enviros, with their
war chest won't give up, and will take maybe 10 years to resolve. 2. Form an underground group of Robin Hoods sneaking around the Kings forest trying
to avoid the Sheriff of Nottingham.(maybe recruit ex-soldiers with PTSD to to live in the woods and serve as recon/sentinel posts. I'm sure they'd rather
do that than live in one room motels with weekly support groups and psychiatrist appointments. Maybe also recruit motorcycle clubs and NRA-types to run interference) 3. Protest, like Vini, Gandi, the blacks in the sixties who were thrown in jail, fire-hosed etc., vietnam protestors(agree with them or not) who
changed the course of the war, the guy who stood in front of the tanks in Tienemen Square, etc. 4. Try to change the political landscape in Ca. Which do
you guys think has the best chance of success? I personaly like no. 3.

people think that all of us miners should work together for the common goal of protecting our rights. also we should work together for this common goal united… this is why that will never happen…… big egos… strong indivgualism makes it impossible. Russ , john and vinni are fine examples of this. people will start drawing lines and supporting one group or the other. soon we will have vinni’s group, Russ’s , john and their supporters all fighting each other and nothing getting anything done except fighting and name calling…. WAY TO GO GUY’S
