Hello,

This has been a long time coming. I’ve been SLOWLY working on a highbanker for recreational use. I thought I could build something pretty solid out of some of the extras I had laying around. I’m not to sure how well this thing will work, but I plan to sort that out this summer. Let me know what you think!

looking good,
i just started making one for this year for my clubs stream, a 48 x 14" wide one with an interchangable dredge inlet plate so i can change the size of my dredge hose depending on stream conditions , either a 3 or 4 inch and it will be able to be used either with legs as a free standing unit or on floats if i need it more mobile . im gonna make my hopper flare at the top and spraybar assy removable like a top ring assy so it can be removed when not needed. i was also kicking around making a over under 2 stage box

Do you have anywhere for your oversize to go? Or do you plan on cleaning the grizzlies manually?

if thats towards me, you can see the lines on the inside of the box where im gonna start the grizzly hole and cut it out with my plasma cutter and tweak it from there when i get the grizzly punch plate sitting where it needs to be below the dredge inlet , once i get that mounted where i need it

There is an outlet on the back for the oversized material to empty out the back.

Perfect! Just couldn't see it in the picture. Looks like a nice build, should work well for you! Good luck and can't wait to see what it catches :icon_thumleft:

Looks like it will work just fine. My suggestion would be to use Gold Hog mats instead of your current riffle/carpet set-up, but it should catch gold the way it is. Enjoy.
