I am ready to get a wetsuit to do some sniping, possibly dredging but I didn't realize how hard it was going to be to find one that will fit.
I am 6'1, 160 lbs, 35" and 31" waist. For most suits that puts me in 3-5 different sizes depending on which numbers you look at. Henderson makes tall sizes starting with MT but chest starts at 38 and waist at 33. I would need a ST or even an XST. Does anyone make a 7mm farmer john in those sizes or could I make something else work? I'm new to wetsuits.

Go to some sporting goods stores and try on wet suits. Wetsuit sizes run small, I wear an XXL, the only thing in XXL I own is my wetsuits, everything else is Large. I'm 5'11", 200 lbs.

Just being under water will more less "form fit" your suit even if a little oversized and still help keep you warm...same effect as wearing fishing waders.

Have fun and good luck.

You really need to go try some on, the pressure of the water wont "form fit" a wet suit like it will waders as a wet suit lets water pass through the suit, thats just poor advice. If the suit isn't a snug fit it will be uncomfortable bun freezing time.

Ok I asked the nearest dive shop if they had any 7mm farmer johns and it turns out they actually do so I’ll have to stop by soon.

There's no way I'd have purchased a wet suit without trying it on first.

Got a good one doing that, think I got it from Kellyco about 5 plus years ago when I went down there to their store. Met TH and Pat Cats that trip. Good / Great people.
