Congratulations on a smart purchase! I'm on my 2nd 12V Thompson. I bought his first model years ago and it was made of wood and a wee bit heavy for long hauls so then later he came out with the aluminum 12v and it is my favorite. Over all I have owned 4 bellows that this is the biggest and yes well made. I also own a gas blower drywasher that I only use out in the Mojave where the gold is chunky and can handle the blowing action and still stay in the riffles. Then I own a little 12V blower that is used for sampling and is truly a dry shaker table and gets me the finest of gold plus the riffles are short so when you empty the tray is just the right amount to pan. Was made in the early to mid 60's by a hobby/rock shop in Compton.
