Been out washin the dirt sampling, maybe a mosquitoes eye worth of gold, this little guy hung out on my tool for a few made the day, temp 103. found a few hot Rocks, just cant find the dadgum drop zone, spent a few hours punching holes working our way toward the main wash, shallow bedrock but no gold, its been flushed downstream somewhere now the real prospecting starts finding the pocket that sweet spot where the wash could no longer hold the gold.

We have some work to do on the tortoise then we are back out to the placer dig, hope my hunch pays off.

Dogs, fish and birds love gold mining! We are lucky to be the real naturalists not those eco nazi greenies who claim to be.
