I thought about it when I saw one a 161 on Craig's list for 500.00. The guy was selling to go with a 140 for portability. I ended up keeping my 140 for the same reason. I also like seeing the material running so I can adjust as I go. However, I have never actually seen or used the 161.

I decided to drag this old thread back.....Does anyone have a 191 or first hand experience of running this machine? My buddy is considering buying one.

Keene is still content with selling 1960's technology to todays miners. I couldn't help but notice a lot of hot air, no cleanout results. Just a couple of guys shoveling dirt onto the conveyor belt. There are better, lighter, less complicated systems available.

Are you talking about the new Keene 210 unit they are testing? The hot air system works fine.....blower type drywashers are used all over the world...and catch fine gold as well as nuggets.
