    What leaf blower?

I'm looking for an Echo blower for a small wooden drywasher, what model do you recommend?

I made mine about 35 years ago but I cant remember the brand it was , but I ended up giving it to a club member of mine when I couldn't get out anymore. But I have 2 battery powered blower ( E-GO 450 & 550 CFM) that I've been thinking about one of them....Trouble with them is that they only run (like gangbuster's) for about a hour wide open . A wired blower like Goodygu posted is a real good one to start with. Just remember to add your own filter over the fan blade to slow down it's eventual destruction for the fine rocky dust your sucking up ! And inspect (look for small cracks in the blade) your fan blade BEFORE you leave to go prospecting ! Good luck & have fun !

guys run these at full throttle all day.they are really loud.i think they take the fun out of the day.but they make making a drywasher easy. thats why i built a 12 volt one.
    good luck brad

I use the Keene (Makita 4 stroke) quieter and smoother idle than 2 stroke

Thanx guys. I did end buying a echo pb255 for $40 but it wasn't running. I took it to a local shop and for another 70 got it running good. Lots of air! Thanx again
