Equinox (soon?)

Good afternoon gentlemen

I like many of you are waiting for their Equinox. Id like to know where you guys are in the queue from your respective vendor.
I made my order back in October through Kellyco and had yet to hear anything. I assume that a larger vendor would have received a larger amount of initial orders, but I could be wrong.
I am trying to guesstimate the distributed volume from various members

Thanks guys

Several guys have given up on Kellyco, cancelled, and ordered from Cabella's, and got immediate shipment. Have you called Kellyco?:skullflag:

i talked to Kellyco this morning and was told that they only received ten and that they were shipped out. I read on another site that Kellyco had orders for 250. Since I prepaid just last month i think i am in for a long wait (unless a bunch of people cancel). oh well... The reason I ordered from them is that they are less than an hour drive from me if i have a problem...

I thought I saw a posted email from k co that they got only 6 in first shipment. The cabellas thing is surprising I thought site said delivery 5-7 days but not aware any
actually received by anyone. I'm #7 in queue at my dealers. Hope I get mine from a
hefty second shipment from Minelab but who knows?

Waterscoop, Minelab machines have been in high demand since the late 1987, and the release of the GT 16000. When the SD series came out in 1996, Minelab became "King of the Goldfields," and the demand has never waned. The Equinox represents the marriage of single- and multi- frequency capabilities in one, light, inexpensive machine. EVERYBODY wants one. Demand is once again outpacing distribution, even though they are making them as fast as they can. Thousands are going to Africa, Asia, and Europe.

Minelab knows what they are doing, and they are taking care of their certified dealers in a very organized way. It is up to the DEALER, to keep the customer informed. If a dealer says they are "not sure" how many machines they will get and when, they are full of it. :skullflag:

Minelab does know what they are doing for sure. I checked the Cabella's site, they had the 600 in stock, a few hours later the listing was removed from their website so I assume they are out of stock, however, that being said, keep watching their site and you might get lucky.

And Terry, not everybody wants one. I do not as I still have not figured out how to clone myself so I can use two machines at the same time. Also since I don't go in the water, the machine would probably not help me at all. My current machines work great, the Tesoro and the XP Deus. No need to add anything right now. Maybe later. Maybe not.

I was #2 on list cancelled when he only got one.
And so now since I have to wait anyways might as well watch the videos and try to save myself 750.00 when everyone finds out it is just another detector LOL.

Not to throw the subject off topic but what Tesoro do you use? I’m trying to sell mine and get the equinox but have really thought about just keeping the vaquero cause like you I don’t hunt in the water

Yeah, its interesting about the Cabellas situation. I called them the other day, and they said that they would ship directly from the manufacturer in 4 to 7 days. I wonder how many guys that went the Cabelas route have actually received their unit or a tracking number.

I noticed that as well earlier. I’m just going to wait to get one and see what the reviews are. There’s always pros and cons and bugs to be worked out on new products. I myself tend to jump the gun and buy the newest of some things and kick myself in the rear when I realize I jump the gun on the fly to get something new to realize the updated model has less issues

Civil_War22 I have a Cibola. I've had a Vaquera, but sold it, don't know why, was sort of thinking getting another one but I have the same problem. The clone attempt did not work. I can only use 1 machine at a time and don't have an untouched field with deep targets the Vaquera would work best in.

Total crazyness.

Can't paste the link here for some reason but check out the guy offering an 800 to the highest bidder on Pittsburgh craigslist. Minimum starting bid at $1200.00! Lol. People are nuts.

HighVDI, yes people are nuts. Latest hype, latest bells and whistles. If someone wants it that bad, good for them. On the other hand I just spent way too much to have an antique ring I found in January restored. We all tend to get stuff we don't need.

At least one! A guy on another forum ordered his a couple days ago, fully expecting an email about delays and waiting, but he got a tracking a few days later.

I wonder how long the wait will be now that the first group of machines is essentially gone. I'd still like to do a side by side.
